This year the Greater Cicero Community Festival was
marking its 23rd Year!
Also the theme for the festival was
"LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!"
theme was throughout the festival and parade...
The Grand Marshal of the parade this year was Gomez Adams from TK99.
Gomez is the Morning Personality and lives in Cicero.
Gomez was also honored at the festival.
Each day Entertainment was scheduled! Friday night - Ruby Shooz was to perform, however inclement weather intervened.

Soul Mine performed on Saturday afternoon between 1pm to 2:45pm
featuring R&B, Oldies & Funk!
"The Hottest Band on the Planet" performed on Saturday night from
6:15pm to 10:15pm
with Letizia and the Z Band sponsored by
Fire Star Urgent Care.
Friday the 13th Annual Cruise Night was scheduled and hosted by the American Muscle Car Club. Unfortunately, the Car
Show was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Saturday festivities kicked off at 11:30am with the
"Let the Good Times Roll!" Community Parade
sponsored by Syracuse University.
The schedule on Saturday included the Cicero Community Craft & Business Show, and the Star Search competition from 3pm to 4:45pm. There was
the fun zone for the kids,
along with martial arts and karate demonstrations.
Plus at 12:45pm it was the BRAVE & STRONG FIRE TRUCK PULL!
This year the Cicero Chamber was partnering with Griffin's Guardians assisting
children battling cancer. In honor of Griffin Engle, who passed away at 7 from
brain cancer, Cicero Police Officer John Cottrell pulled a fire truck over 50 feet
in the parking lot of Sacred Heart Church on Saturday 6/13 12:45pm at the
Greater Cicero Chamber Community Festival! Monies raised of over $2600 was given to
Griffin's Guardians to help the brave little heroes today and to provide them
with HOPE for tomorrow!
In the evening there was the spectacular Price Chopper Fireworks!
Festival admission was FREE on Saturday.
Also featured a variety of non-food and food vendors on both days
